How It Works
Wavys uses OpenAI's GPT-4 Realtime voice model to conduct natural phone conversations — under 800ms response time. When a call comes in, the AI greets the caller with your business name, answers questions using your configured business info (services, pricing, hours, locations), captures their contact details naturally during conversation, and emails you a structured summary seconds after the call ends. It sounds like a real receptionist, not a phone tree.
Wavys uses GPT-4 Realtime voice — it sounds natural and conversational. You configure how it introduces itself. You can make it transparent ("Hi, I'm an AI assistant for [Business]") or keep it general. The choice is entirely yours.
Smart Hours is Wavys's signature feature. You set your business hours once — per day of the week, with timezone and holiday support — and Wavys automatically switches between two modes:
Ring Me First (business hours): Your phone rings first. AI picks up only if you miss it within your configured ring duration.
Instant Answer (after hours): AI picks up immediately on every call. You never have to toggle anything manually.
From every call Wavys captures: caller's name, phone number, email, reason for calling, and preferred callback time. It also classifies urgency (High, Medium, or Low) and spam likelihood. All of this arrives in a structured email summary seconds after each call — plus it's stored and searchable in your dashboard.
Wavys uses OpenAI Whisper for real-time transcription — 95%+ accuracy in normal call conditions. If a caller skips a question, the AI retries contextually without awkward repetition. Accuracy can vary with very poor audio quality.
Wavys AI detects robocalls and spam during the call and flags them in the email summary with a spam likelihood score. Detected spam is labeled clearly so you can ignore it — real leads never get filtered out.
Setup & Your Phone
No. You get a dedicated Wavys local number in any US area code. You can forward your existing number to it, or use your Wavys number directly on your website and marketing. Either way, you keep your existing number and there's no change to your current setup.
Most customers are live in under 5 minutes. You enter your business info, set your hours, and your Wavys number is instantly active. No technical skills required. No IT support needed.
Yes. Wavys works with any phone setup — landlines, VoIP, cell phones, multi-line systems. You simply forward calls to your Wavys number. No changes to your current system required.
All 7 major US timezones: Eastern (ET), Central (CT), Mountain (MT), Pacific (PT), Alaska (AKT), Hawaii-Aleutian (HST), and Arizona (MST).
Yes. Business hours are configured per day of the week. You can also mark specific dates as holidays — the AI adjusts its messaging and mode automatically for those days.

Yes. In Ring Me First mode, you configure the ring duration. If you pick up within that window, you handle the call. If you miss it, Wavys AI picks up seamlessly — callers never hit voicemail.
No — callers don't receive transcripts. You receive a full transcript of every call in your email summary and in your dashboard. Every word, timestamped and searchable.
Yes. Lead data can be exported from your dashboard for CRM import or any other use.
A mobile app is currently in development and coming soon. For now, all email summaries are mobile-optimized and readable instantly on your phone — most customers manage everything from their inbox.
Billing & Plans
Yes. Start a free trial with no credit card required. Test Wavys on your actual business calls before committing to a paid plan.
Any inbound call that Wavys AI answers counts as one call toward your monthly limit. There are no per-minute charges — call duration is unlimited. Spam calls that are detected still count toward your limit.
Wavys alerts you at 80% of your monthly limit so you can add more proactively. Add-on packs are available at any time: +20 calls for $15, +50 calls for $30, or +100 calls for $50. Add-ons reset monthly with your plan and don't roll over.
None. No setup fees, no onboarding charges, no per-minute billing, no hidden costs. You pay your flat monthly plan rate plus any add-on packs you choose to purchase.
Yes. No contracts, no cancellation fees. Cancel from your account dashboard whenever you want. Your service continues through the end of your billing period.

Pro & Team Routing
You define keywords in your Pro dashboard — e.g., "billing," "emergency," "refund." When a caller uses one of those words during the conversation, Wavys routes the call to the matching forwarding number. You can set multiple keywords and assign each to a different team member.
Instead of relying on specific keywords, intent routing uses the AI to understand what the caller actually needs — a quote, support, an appointment, a billing question — and routes accordingly. No keyword required.
If the forwarded number isn't answered, Wavys AI re-engages the caller and takes a complete message. The caller never gets stranded or sent to voicemail — and you still get a full lead summary from the interaction.
Yes. You can configure routing by location — callers asking about a specific location are routed to the team member responsible for that site. Combined with location management in your dashboard, this covers multi-location operations cleanly.
Up to 3 email recipients on Pro. Every call summary goes to all configured recipients — so managers, location leads, and owners all stay in the loop without logging into a dashboard.
